Accommodations

Santorini offers a range of settings, each with its own rhythm and perspective. Whether you’re drawn to sweeping caldera views, lively village streets, or relaxed seaside stays, the island has something for every style of traveler.

We recommend several beautiful and budget-friendly hotels near Kamari and Perivolos/Perissa beaches — all within a ~10–20 minute taxi ride of our wedding reception at Le Ciel Santorini (Imerovigli).

Taxis are easy to arrange through your hotel and are the most convenient way to get around the island.

How to Choose Where to Stay

Oia:

Best for iconic views, romance, and a quieter, more refined atmosphere. Known for boutique hotels, dramatic caldera scenery, and unforgettable sunsets.

Pyrgos:

A traditional hilltop village offering a peaceful setting, panoramic views, and a more local Santorini experience, often with greater flexibility in accommodation options.

Kamari:

Best for families, beach access, and walkable seaside dining. Most hotels are just steps from the black-sand beach.

Perivolos/Perissa:

Known for wider black-sand beaches, a relaxed atmosphere, and generally more affordable accommodation options.

Fira:

The island’s central hub, offering shopping, cafés, nightlife, and easy access to transportation (not beachfront).

Imerovigli:

Where our reception is located — celebrated for its stunning caldera views, with fewer and typically more exclusive hotel options.

Santorini is a small island — even the farthest areas are ~20–25 minutes by taxi.
